The Ixon Vortex 2 Leather Motorcycle Jacket has a resistant Cow Leather material construction and stretch with micro-perforated Leather on the Chest and a removable light sleeveless lining. The Jacket has a racing collar with Neoprene Back and Neckroll and a fitted cut which is preformed and highly supportive. Flex Leather has been used on the sides and the bottom of the Back to increase available movement, and there are also panels in very resistant stretch on the inside of the Sleeves.
For rider safety, Elbow and Shoulder CE Level 2 protectors have been included, along with a pocket for a Back protector to be added if required. CE Level 2 means that the maximum transmitted force must be below 9 kN, and no single value shall exceed 12 kN. The Jacket has securised stitching, external sleek shells on the Shoulders and sliders on the Elbows – all derived from the Ixon Racing range.
The Jacket has a full connection zip around the waist so that the Jacket can be used with Ixon Riding Pants, along with anatomic zipped Cuffs and tightening straps. There is a compact aerodynamic hump for stability and performance at high end, along with 2 external pockets, and 3 internal pockets.
